What It Means To Be An Entrepreneur
For Ashwin, there was a predetermined path that he was meant to take: Get educated, then join the family business.
After completing his MBA from the University of Texas, Ashwin did join his family business; a Water Treatment Company where he started the Customer Care department. He soon realized he wasn’t living one of the entrepreneur lives that had inspired him in his college days. Ashwin was wearing an identity that didn’t fit.
Fortunately, Ashwin decided he was going to break the chains of convention. He surged onto the battlefield of business to follow his own path and started his own company, Equinox Labs.
He wanted to truly live the life of an entrepreneur, and for that, he needed to step away from the ‘chosen life’ and focus his energy to inspire others.
Through trial and error, Ashwin learned that risk and reward were his fuel and the ignition always propelled him toward new opportunities in order to succeed on a larger scale.
